Adobe Home is a modern rail line linking the smooth crossover of yacht rock and Laurel Canyon pop. Jeff Larson can't help but emulate his 70s influences throughout (even echoing the producer, America's Gerry Beckley, Walter Egan, Bob Welch). Lost inside the smooth, sepia-sunset tones here is a picture book of sorts and a wide open highway down the 101. Easily the soundtrack to the shore, Larson personifies the sound of SoCal and the softer side of singer-songwriter rock, appealing to any deep dive into Fleetwood Mac and the like.
